Least south African experience
03 November 2019
This was just a normal afternoon tea. Nothing special at all. Certainly should not be advertised as a south African inspired afternoon tea. The only thing African was the decor and apparently amarula scones....they were just scones. Really disappointing especially travelling all the way for this and on the day south Africa won the world cup would have thought this restaurant would have had more of a buzz. Very dissapointed.

Beautiful place. I wouldn’t call it South African afternoon tea as the only thing South African about it was the plates but it was delicious.

Just returned from a lovely afternoon tea at the Bbar in London. The location was very good if you are visiting London, the service and the place itself were also very good. The food was excellent and very tasty with different flavours from the usual afternoon teas.
