Would have been lovely However my husband is quite fussy so asked for just plain ham without butter when I booked via phone, which they said would be fine. We arrived and the message was not passed on and they had no ham, they said they could do beef sandwiches without butter which was fine but unfortunately they all came with massive amounts of butter. I was left with no selection as they didn’t quite understand it was only my husband’s sandwiches that needed to be just beef and no butter.
The scones were definitely the best part of the afternoon tea and you could tell they were made fresh that day.
I asked for a glass of water and unfortunately think they are still trying to rub two rocks together to get the water. Overall the 2 starts are purely for the scones.
