After a morning of exploring or before a night out in the Capital, head to the hotel for a sumptuous Champagne afternoon tea. Served in the Park Room, complete with extravagant furnishings, it includes scrumptious finger sandwiches (with filings that include smoked oakham chicken with tarragon and crème fraiche and cucumber with garden mint butter), a selection of open sandwiches, plain and raisin buttermilk scones (with preserves and Devonshire clotted cream), an array of pastries and home baked cakes. The afternoon tea at the Park Room is the best we have experienced in London and this latest visit lived up to expectations, this summer the theme was a tribute to the the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, the food was delightfull and the staff were attentive and helpfull

Had a great a champagne ?? afternoon tea in the Park Room at the Grosvenor House on Park Lane. Staff very attentive and sandwiches, scones and cakes, together with the tea and champagne were delightful and delicious ??. The only thing was that we didn’t have a view over the park, but this didn’t detract from the experience.

We were fortunate to be one of the first to have the Jubilee tea. They accommodated our requirements for no seafood which included coronation chicken, cucumber, ham, beef, cheese sandwiches, egg and cheese mini open rolls (usually includes salmon and prawn). Lots of queen celebration desert cakes (divine), and large scones, plus extra cake to take home if you want! Topped off with tea or coffee and glass if bubbly...all with friendly fantastic service in a lovely setting.

Afternoon tea at the Grosvenor House Hotel's 'Park Room' was a delight - lovely room, attentive but not overbearing staff, lovely tea and caKes etc - and generous helpings too. There was a pianist playing all afternoon which made it very special. Highly recommended!

The Best Afternoon Tea in London.
I always look for the best reviews, but now I wouldn't look any further and highly recommended The Park Room, Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, as my only choice in London for afternoon tea. The location, the atmosphere, the professional, friendly service, the choice of teas, the delicious food, live pianist and the decor are 1st class and worth every penny. It was my birthday treat and the staff sang happy birthday and I received the most magnificent slice of chocolate cake i have ever tasted. The Best Afternoon Tea in London at the Park Room, Grosvenor House Hotel, don't go anywhere else!
