Water Experience Days: Learn the basics of the contemporary watersport that’s taking the world by storm: Stand up paddleboarding! This 1 hour experience at Lower Lliw Reservoir is a great introduction to the world of SUP, and showcases the beauty of this peaceful spot from the thrilling vantage point of a paddleboard.
If you’re curious about stand up paddleboarding, this 1 hour lesson is a great place to start! You’ll meet with your qualified instructors and the rest of the small group at Lower Lliw Reservoir. Views don’t get much more breath-taking than this, with lush green countryside and still blue waters. The only thing better than gazing out at the water will be getting onto it yourself, so without further ado it’s time to get suited up! You can bring your own wetsuit for your SUP experience, or rent one from the centre. Stand up paddleboarding is a hugely accessible sport practiced by people of all shapes and sizes, so beginners are more than welcome. Using their floating pontoon, your instructor will assist you onto your stand up paddleboard. Once on the water, they will show you all the basics you’ll need to get started on your paddleboarding adventure, moving onto more technical skills dependant on your learning speed. As you get to grips with SUP, you’ll enjoy a peaceful 1 hour tour of the surrounding natural beauty before heading back to dry land. By the end of your experience, you’ll feel invigorated by your lesson, which will hopefully be the beginning of a long and fulfilling hobby!

All Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
