Night Kayaking Adventures: If you enjoy a night time adventure and love the outdoors, this Lewes kayaking trip will make a unique evening out. Experience East Sussex after dark while you kayak down the beautiful River Ouse, River Arun and the River Medway!
If you are a beginner to kayaking, do not fear; the experts will teach you everything you need to know about the basics of this enjoyable activity, before the light fades and you begin your night kayak! Before setting off, your guide will make sure you are in the correct gear and understand all the safety procedures, then the fun can begin! Throughout this experience the instructors will be on hand if you need any assistance. Whilst you let your night vision set in, you will be able to see the beautiful waterways in Sussex and Kent, taking in the incredible natural environment around you. You will begin your adventure at a section in one of the rivers that is non-tidal as this makes a perfect starting point for those who want to get used to the equipment and water. After a while of night kayaking, you may even feel confident enough to finish your journey without your head torch on: the true night kayaking experience!

Availability
Night Kayaking runs on selected weekends and weekday dates throughout the year. This activity runs at least once a month from March to October. This is subject to availability at the time of booking.

Requirements
Night Kayaking is suitable for both beginners and regular paddlers. Participants should be able to swim 50m unaided and have a good general level of fitness.
Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access at this venue.

Experience Duration: 3:00
Time Spent at Venue: 3:15
Night Kayaking trips should last around 3 hours but expect to be at the centre a little bit longer.

Due to the nature of night kayaking it is not suitable for spectators.
Where is it Located
What to Wear
Suitable clothing should be worn for the time of year. A change of clothing and appropriate footwear is also required. Participants will also require a head torch. When you book in directly with the activity provider, customers will be provided with a kit list.
Weather
Participants are provided with guidance on dressing appropriately at the time of booking.
If conditions are unsuitable and your booking is cancelled by the provider you will be able to reschedule for another date.
