Ghost Tours Experience Days: Journey into Liverpool’s gruesome past during this 90 minute immersive ghost tour, led by a costumed theatrical guide! You’ll traverse the streets of the ‘Auld City’ and visit The Liverpool Dead House to learn about those who have passed into the great beyond.
You’ll begin by meeting your guide and the rest of the tour group in central Liverpool. Try not to get too spooked by your ghoulish guide, who will be dressed for the part! As they present their theatrical performance, they’ll invite you into the dark and terrifying world of the ‘Auld City.’ Explore the original seven streets of Liverpool as you learn about the stomach-turning things that happened there. Tales of dungeons, plague, cholera, and slums will unfold in front of you, comparing Liverpool’s gruesome past with the built-up, bustling city you see today. Follow your guide through a medieval garden and watch as they uncover a trap door that leads to ‘The Liverpool Dead House’: Liverpool’s oldest morgue.
