Arts and Crafts Experience Days: For a truly unique arts and crafts group experience, try the Fused Glass Workshop in the heart of Brighton. Unlike any other experiences offered, this gift provides an opportunity to understand the principles of glass fusion, and make a selection of beautifully bespoke glass ornaments.
Arriving at the workshop, your experience begins with an overview of different types of glass, and how the unique properties can be manipulated and fused to create exquisite designs. The expert instructor will give a demonstration to outline the various techniques involved, before handing over to you to start fusing! You'll receive guidance throughout the workshop to improve your skills and ensure you're operating the equipment safely, so by the end you'll be a proficient glass-fuser! (If that's a word). Make a variety of wall hangings and coasters during the day, which the instructor will kiln fire after the session and make ready for collection or post up to a week later. Workshops are always private just for your group, so let loose and get creative!
Glass work is a totally different activity that makes a wonderfully unique experience gift, perfect for friends who enjoy trying new things - or for celebrating special occasions!
Availability
This is a 2.5 hour workshop, running on selected weekdays and weekend dates throughout the year, subject to availability.

Workshops take place in the shop basement, therefore access for disabled people is restricted.

This is a 2 and a half hour workshop.
This experience usually runs from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm.

What to Wear
Participants are required to wear closed toe shoes.
Eye goggles are provided on the day.

This is not a weather dependant activity, however if a cancellation occurs the workshop will be rescheduled for another date.
