Single Seater Experience for One – UK Wide 1028103

Booking was dead easy, good facilities and it was very well organised leading up to and on the day.

Purchased this as a 60th birthday present. He thoroughly enjoyed it although there was a lot of standing around for the spectators and nowhere to sit.

I should have booked when I got the vouchers in May but waited until November! The day was generally well organised and I managed to progress through the instructor session and into the single seater quickly. On the track it was very wet and windy so I wasn't able to explore the limits of the car and my 6 laps ended all too soon. The conditions led to a number of cars going into the barrier and progress for the remaining drivers slowed with only 3 cars left and they had to wait in the cold and windy pit lane. You can't book the weather but it would be much more enjoyable for drivers and spectators in the dry - I'll be booking in the summer next time. The staff are excellent, very enthusiastic and do their best to make your day, thanks.

The instruction in the Alpha Romeo was clear and helpful. It was well organised - the only drawback was that there were a lot of other cars on track which I can understand The organisers looking to max the track time but a bit too busy in my view. The single seat cars are quick enough to get an idea of the speed and skills needed to drive such a car. Weather was fantastic which definitely helped.

The single seater experience was amazing. The booking process was very easy. The tuition was great and a lot of fun. There was no pressure and it was all very relaxed and made for a good morning. This is definetly one of the most ultimate thrills and the cars were very quick and being on your own let loose on the track was a great experience.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful and the day itself was amazing. I drove the single seater around the goodwood circuit. You could really get some speed up around this circuit. It was amazing. The day started in an Alfa Romeo to learn the racing lines and get used to the track and then I was let loose in the single seater for 4 laps. The first lap as a bit slow, but the other 3 were amazing. I will definitely be doing this again very soon

A really good, well-organised single seater racing experience at Goodwood. Just about got up to a ton on the back straight, but it felt a lot faster being so close to the ground! 4 laps of cool driving experience. Recommended!

Arrived at the site (goodwood) which was well signposted and easy to find. The reception area was right in the pits with many people milling around waiting for their respective experiences. Reception staff were friendly and made you feel welcome. On to the experience... We were taken out for a couple of instructor driven laps; the instructor was knowlegable and calming and gave good precise advice on how to get the most from the car and track. Then you are given the driving seat where the instructor gives some final tips on driving lines, braking points and safe overtakes. Driving round in the Alfa was great fun, but what came next was epic! We were taken through to get our race suits on, were given a clean balaclava, gloves and a helmet. Once comfortably strapped in the car an instructor gives some final instructions on the dash and gears, and then you're off on your own... Slowly navigating the pit lane, a quick look in the mirror, tracks clear... Floor it! 5000rpm, bang gear 2, whoa this is good. 5000rpm, bang gear 3, I'm in love. Up into 4th, both hands on the wheel, it's on. Lap 1: feels quick. Although you kinda know you can go faster, but no heroics here Lap 2: that's better. More apexes hit, but are these brakes working? Lap 3: quicker again. And yes, when approaching the corner at full speed, the brakes are perfect. Lap 4: flat out. I am an F1 driver! Hamilton eat your heart out! And then it was over. Can't wait to do it again! What an afternoon!
