Designed for the novice snorkeller aged between 6–11 years old, visit The Skegness Aquarium for the ultimate snorkelling experience with baby sharks! After a quick briefing session and essential basic training, enter the 1.1-metre shallow waters of the Lost Lagoon to search for hidden treasure and patiently wait for the fishy inhabitants to immerge from their rocky environment. Teased out with the scent of chopped squid, get up close and personal with beautiful Hasselt Catsharks, Epaulette Sharks, Coral Catsharks and a Brown Banded Bandoo Catshark. Villains of the deep? Quite the opposite. Remember your fun-filled adventure with a certificate and top off your day by exploring the rest of the aquarium!
What's included?
- Entry to Skegness Aquarium for two children and two adults
- Snorkelling experience for two children
- Interaction with baby sharks without barriers, including Hasselt Catsharks, Epaulette Sharks, Coral Catsharks and a Brown Banded Bandoo Catshark
- Get up close to the sharks with a feeding session

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- Your voucher is valid for two adults and two children
- Available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, year round
- The snorkelling sessions take place at 9.30am or 3.30pm but guests have access to the aquarium all day
- At the discretion of the Dive Team, more spaces may be made available to meet demand
- The snorkelling experience is available for children between 6–11 years only
- No previous experience is required, although confidence in the water is essential
- When completing your booking request online, please follow the instructions to ensure you book for the correct number of people. You must make a separate booking for each participant, using the same voucher details
- A one-hour experience with at least 20 minutes spent in The Lost Lagoon
- There is a digital lesson which will be carried out via an online e-learning link and needs to be completed prior to arrival – details for this and other elements of the experience will be included in the confirmation e-mail
- All equipment is provided. Participants must bring their own swimming costume/shorts, towel and shower products
- Please note, you are required to fill out a medical declaration to confirm your fitness for the experience and sign a digital registration form
- Additional spectators are charged at a supplementary fee
- All participants will be videoed during the experience and will have the option to purchase a video link of the experience
- All dates are subject to availability

Bought the Shark Diving experience for my 14 year old sons birthday and he had an amazing time, even stating it was the best present ever. The experience is very well organised and the dive team were fantastic with looking after my son and making sure that he was OK. He would love to do it again. Highly recommend!

Snorkeling with sharks

The kids absolutely loved this experience however it felt a little clunky end to end.
You are asked to be there a 7:45 but no one opens the doors until 8am. 5 young kids outside at that time in the morning in winter is not fun. The snorkeling itself was brilliant, fun informative and really inclusive. Then you get thrown out of the aquarium for an hour until it opens at 10. At this time in winter nothing is open and there's no where to go. So the kids are walking around looking at rides that are closed and cafes that they can't eat in with wet hair. It would have made it much more special to let everyone in to the aquarium an hour early (we had just walked through) or maybe given everyone a drink in the cafe for an hour with the colouring in sheets from the museum. A little thought would hugely improve the experience

The kids lived this and also found it very educational, loved the aquarium which now also has the added feature if the dinosaur park outside, were local but haven't done this before and it .afe a great afternoon out.

Difficult to book and

Found this experience difficult to book, lots of emails flying around and then missed sessions as confused the start time, venue made no attempt to contact us despite answering all the emails in advance so obviously wanted to do the experience, turned up for start time I though I booked, aquarium informed us we had forfeited the voucher despite being in the aquarium, at 3 pm.
So frustrated!!!
Waste of a voucher.

Great experience being fed to the sharks!

The experience was fabulous; the staff friendly and helpful (even at the last minute), the session ran really smoothly - you where shown everything you needed in the practice tank (with the smaller sharks helping out) before graduating to the main tank and the bigger sharks! An experience I will remember for a long time!

I bought this for my nephew who is shark mad!! He's only 6 and everywhere I looked only did shark experience for around 10+ years and then I found this!! He was looking forward to it for months and it didn't disappoint. The only thing I would change was that the side of the tank wasn't see through so spectators could only see from above.
