Would highly recommend the package we were gifted. The massages were excellent, the breakfasts were plentiful and the dinner was good value too. We upgraded from the standard room but all the rooms were of a high standard.

We had the most wonderful time. All of the staff were so kind and helpful and make you feel like you are a special guest. The food although on the pricier side was delicious and the spa treatments were lovely.

Because of the deceptive wording of your buy a gift voucher, we had to pay £100 for a dinner which we were led to believe was included in the gift. The voucher said: "Two Night Escape with Dinner and a 25 Minute Treatment each for Two ..." However, it only included dinner for ONE night, not for both nights. The wording on your vouchers needs to be changed to make it quite clear what it includes and what it DOESN'T include.

This was a gift, unfortunately the spa is quite tired and lots of children (which is understandable as it’s a family friendly hotel) so not quite the relaxing experience we’d been expecting. It also does not look like the photos. Spa staff were off hand and not very helpful. The hotel staff were lovely however and the hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The walk to Marlow was lovely along the Thames.

Great break away. The hotel is lovely & clean. We were upgraded to an executive room when we arrived. Food & spa are lovely too. The location of this hotel is excellent & is with an easy drive of Windsor & take where you can walk along the Thames. The pretty village of Marlow is within walking distance. We would definitely come back again & recommend to others.

We arrived at the hotel only to be told we had to pay another £100 which we would get on our departure. We were shown to our room and it was clean and spacious. We had treatments, facials which were nice and had dinner which was off the set menu. I was most disappointed to find that they put nothing at all on because it was a special occasion, no free drink, no free bottle of wine, not even a cake. I would have thought the hotel would have put something special on.

This is fantastic value! Sure, the spa is a little dated and cramped but everything worked fine and the gym was great. 2 nights in a very nice room, with a relaxing spa treatment, delicious 3 course meal and 2 amazing buffet breakfasts for that price - wow. We had a great time - thanks to all the staff for looking after us.

Great location

Hotel was clean & staff were good on sanitation. Food was very good & all the staff in every department were friendly & extremely helpful.

I booked this in June hoping to be able to have a midweek break at the beginning of August to celebrate my wedding anniversary. The earliest the venue could book us was the 7th November. We arrived for our spa treatments to be told there was a 30 minute delay (the therapist ‘forgot’ her 4 o clock and started her treatment at 16.25 so mine was late.) She rushed it as she was supposed to finish at 5. I was the last into the treatment and the 1st out so as you can imagine I was gutted. That said my husbands treatment was fantastic and he had a very attentive therapist. He really enjoyed it. Dinner was good, tasty selection and good portion sizes. No salt and pepper though and the member of staff asked to bring some and cutlery for the pudding huffed away. We never did get the salt and pepper! Breakfast was good but don’t go down too late or you’ll get crispy left overs!!! No decaf tea easily available I had to ask both mornings. The hotel did give a gesture of goodwilll towards our bill following me complaining about how disappointing the treatment was but ultimately I suppose you get what you pay for and this was a good price with a seasonal discount so I perhaps should have adjusted my expectations accordingly. A shame as it is the potential to be a fantastic stay if the staff had just come across as a bit more approachable and happy to be there. I would consider this deal again but not this venue. The room was well appointed and clean but service very mixed and other areas of the hotel still looking like they needed a quick makeover. There was a corporate function on whilst we were there so perhaps they spent their time focussing on this?
