Sparkling Sussex Afternoon Tea for Two at Ashdown Park Hotel 1078734

Was given gift for my 60 th birthday and the whole experience was wonderful, food was amazing and added glass of wine and chocolates was lovely, we had an amazing afternoon

Our afternoon tea experience at the Ashdown Park Hotel was very good. There were a couple of staff who were a little inexperienced but over all the service was very good. The quality of the tea was exceptional and I would certainly recommend.

Architecturally interesting hotel in an idyllic parkland setting. A little jaded and faded in places but not really an issue. Tea was enjoyable with a nice range of quality food. Service was just appalling as staff were invisible for the 90 minutes we were there. A request for additional tea and two glasses of water were ignored or forgotten. We saw the waitress once when food was delivered and my cappuccino in a tea cup without saucer! There were plenty of staff in the reception area chatting to each other, just none in the tearoom where couples were spending £80+. A clear case for management to step up.

We had a lovely afternoon at Ashdown Park, which is a beautiful and very impressive venue The staff were attentive but not intrusive and the food was very nice

We had a lovely time here. The food was lovely and presented beautifully. I was able to order a gluten free option as well. Staff very friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Afternoon Tea at Ashdown Forest. Delightful place set in beautiful surroundings. Plenty of delicious food to eat washed down with sparkling wine.

We were given afternoon tea for a birthday gift and both enjoyed it immensely. Surroundings, service and quality of food was second to none. Had a nice walk by the lake afterwards too.

Sadly sandwiches were dry and scones stale
