Afternoon Tea for Two at Home with Piglet's Pantry and a Movie Rental from CHILI 107104956

The food was absolutely delicious and a full 5*****'s the only problem was the gift information saying the recipient and buyer where the same person.

Very nice package, could have done with more pickle in the sausage roll though.

Easy to order, delivered on time, beautifully presented and gorgeous to eat. All excellent.

Food was excellent and plenty of it, my neighbour who shared this with me we had the savoury food at lunchtime and the cakes and tea in the afternoon it was lovely.

I've had this afternoon tea several times before and it lived up to expectation. A good selection of savoury and sweet items, all fresh and delicious. For some reason the buyagift code did not work on the Piglet's Pantry website this time but a quick email to Piglet's Pantry sorted that out very quickly. It all arrived exactly when it should have done and was lovely! There was one area of ambiguity though, well, in my head anyway. The order confirmation from Piglet's Pantry instructed that all items except cakes, scones and cookies should be kept in the fridge but the instructions that came with the box said something, like remove the scones and refrigerate everything else. Previous deliveries have gone directly to friends houses so somebody else has had to decide what to refrigerate but I found that confusing.

After looking forward to my afternoon tea all day, I was very disappointed in what I received. The sausage rolls and scotch eggs and quiche looked like something you would get a football match. Not something made for an afternoon tea. The pastry on the sausage rolls was very pail and under baked, scotch egg meat was bland, The Ham hock & mature cheddar quiche's had no trace what so every of any ham. when I came to the scones they were hard and tasted stale. Carrot cake had more cream cheese topping than cake which had no taste at all, Blueberry & Banana was heavy with only one blueberry in it. The Lemon Drizzle loaf cake was crumbly and stale, the only taste of lemon was in the icing. over all I would not recommend this gift. I would say none of the products had been freshly baked but all came out of the deep freeze. I think Buyagift need to investigate the company who supply this gift.

Good communication from Piglets Pantry, and a delicious box full of treats! Couldn't finish it all in one day so had to carry some over - it lasted well and was just as good on day 2 and 3!

We were given a buyagift voucher for an afternoon tea at home as a Christmas present. I found it really easy to order the date for delivery, and had immediate confirmation of my request. It was a shame that my confirmation included the price that had been paid for my gift. The package arrived at 8.15am on the specified day.
