Overview

Take to the sky in a fixed-wing microlight plane for an exhilarating ten minute flight in Bath. Designed to carry two people, a microlight is a small aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 450 kg. Also known as a three-axis microlight, fixed-wing models differ from flexwing due to having conventional stick and rudder controls. With cruise speeds of over 100mph, the agile aircrafts make the ideal mode of transport for a leisurely drift through the airwaves. Get the experience off to a flying start with a safety briefing with a trained pilot, before hopping aboard a Cyclone AX2000. Learn how to control the microlight with expert guidance, taking in the stunning aerial views.

  • Availability Description
    Seven days a week all year round (subject to availability). Excludes Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
  • Participant Guidelines
    Participants over 16 are welcome. Under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian, who'll be required to sign a disclaimer. Max weight is 14 stone. Reasonable physical fitness required. Women in the first or the last three months of pregnancy can't fly.
  • Weather
    This experience may be postponed in the case of extreme weather conditions. Any cancellations will be re-booked.
  • Duration
    Please allow up to one hour at the venue, including a ten minute flight.
  • Numbers on the Day
    The briefing might be shared with other participants, however, the flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified microlight flight instructor.
  • Dress Code
    Wear sensible shoes (no heels) and gloves. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
  • Other Info
