Overview
Weave, dart and race through the trees on the UK’s only alpine coaster with this exhilarating shared sled ride for an adult and child! The Zip World Fforest Coaster, based around a traditional toboggan ride, runs on rails, meaning this exciting experience is available year round. You will start your journey in the heart of the woodland, travelling over 300 metres on the uplift through the trees on your shared sled, before beginning a thrilling 710 metre decent, reaching speeds of up to 25mph – whizzing past the trees, around bends and down the slopes on this gravity driven cart! If you aren’t feeling too brave, you will be able to control the speed of the toboggan, so you can go at a pace to suit you, after all, there are some beautiful views to admire if you go a little slower! As soon as you reach the bottom you’ll be in for even more of an adrenaline rush as you can do it all over again with three exciting rides included. A huge hit for all ages!

- Exciting, all-weather alpine coaster ride, reaching speeds of up to 25mph, with a self-controlled braking system
What do I need to know?- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- Your voucher is valid for one adult and one child
- The adult must be aged 18 years or over and the child must be aged between 3–8 years
- Available to book week round but please note that the coaster is closed Tuesday–Thursday between November and April
- Minimum height for adults: 4ft4 / 1.35m
- Maximum combined weight: 150kg
- Certain medical conditions and pregnancy may preclude participation, please check upon booking
- Your experience must be pre-booked
- You should arrive 30 minutes prior to your booking and check in at reception
- During busy periods, you may have to queue for the ride
- The three rides will last approximately 18 minutes in total, but expect to be at the venue for up to 90 minutes during busy periods
- All dates are subject to availability

What a wonderful day the family had that this gift was purchased for, the kids and adults alike thought this was a perfect day for them. Thought recomended, the kids asked if the could do it again

GREAT FUN IN LOVELY LOCATION

Really good fun riding the Forest Coaster. You can control it so it can be tailored for young children. Both kids (aged 6 & 8) loved it and we managed to reach top speed! Quite busy at first so longer queue time but it eased off later in the day. Spent the rest of the day in the lovely town of Betws y coed.

Brilliant Experience for the Whole Family

This was a great experience! The service and friendliness of the staff at Zip World was amazing and the actual Coaster was amazing fun. My wife was initially nervous about the height of the coaster and taking our 3 year old down the course, but after she discovered that you really could control the speed on each cart yourself, effectively going as slowly as you wish, and the toddler had amazing fun, we were soon all whizzing down the course! Only a few complaints: that the location was very far from home and so we needed an overnight stay nearby as it took such a long time to get there (obviously known before we booked!) and that we really would have liked to have at least 6 runs on the coaster as the first one is really taken up with getting a feel for the carts and course, and so by go 3 you're starting to really have fun and it would be great to do it another 3 times instead of just 3 in total! It also meant that after a long journey, the whole experience was a bit too short and so we booked onto the Treetop Nets but this was a hugely expensive extra, even including the 10% discount for having had another experience (more than the original gift!).
