Step onto the track at Lee Valley VeloPark to follow in the footsteps of Olympic legends with a one-hour cycling experience for two people. Choose between two different experiences, one for kids and one for adults, for a wonderful way to learn a new skill in a world-famous venue. In the Velodrome at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, kids can enjoy two Junior 1:1 Learn to Ride Sessions where they’ll learn how to ride a bike in a class that’s tailored to their needs, led by an experienced instructor. Or for adults, why not try a Velodrome Taster session? Learn from expert coaches how to safely ride a fixed wheel bike around the banked indoor track, learning basic track cycling skills for a great introduction to the sport.

- Available week round, year round
- Please arrive at the VeloPark reception at least 30 minutes before your start time
- Bike and helmet hire is included
- For the Velodrome Taster:
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Minimum height: 4’9”
- Cycling gloves must be worn. You can hire them on the day for an additional charge
- It is recommended that you wear cycling shoes. You can hire Look Keo cleats on the day for an additional charge. Normal trainers can be worn if preferred
- Shoulders must be covered
- Riders over 17st2lb are unable to hire bikes and must bring their own track-specific bike - For the Junior 1:1 Learn to Ride Session:
- Minimum age: 5 years
- Maximum age: 16 years
- A parent or guardian must accompany the child during the session
- This session is designed for beginner riders - All dates are subject to availability
