Gloucester Gloucestershire. Tel 01452 522682 The museum is housed in Custom House, Gloucester Docks. The displays portray the histories of two famous Regiments, one an infantry Regiment of the regular army, and the other a territorial Yeomanry cavalry Regiment. Both have brought much honour.

Illchester Somerset. Tel 01935 840565 Experience a great day out at the fleet air arm museum, displays and exhibitions covering the history of naval aviation including World War I, Unforgotten Falklands, Between the Wars, World War II, Korean War, Swordfish, Woman's Royal Naval Service and many more.

Bovington Dorset. Tel 01929 405096 The museum houses the world's largest and finest collection of armoured fighting vehicles from World War 1 tanks to today's main battle tank of the British Army the Challenger. Come and see almost 300 vehicles from over 26 countries including the impressive T-72 Soviet design.

Swindon Wiltshire. Tel 01793 466646 The railway is bought to life with rare archive film footage, stories of ex-railway workers, hands-on exhibits, interactive displays, famous locomotives and GWR memorabilia. The museum has great character figures life-cast from Swindon people, many of them former railway workers.
